Participants in last year’s meeting were curious to know what happened following the stand-still both in the analysis and the supervision. The patient started to relate dreams which was a challenge to both of us. The presentation today will focus on the learning and teaching of understanding and interpreting the patient’s dreams during a psychoanalytic supervision. Issues related to what was regarded as evidence will be discussed.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this presentation participants will be able to:
- Reviewing basic dream concepts applied to psychoanalytic supervision.
- A detailed illustration.
- Learning the multiple meanings of the patient’s dreams during the analytic process
